Happy Thanksgiving! Digital Eclipse Arcade: Invasion of the Buffet Snatchers is the latest in a series of all-new games inspired by classic '80s arcade vibes.
The ravenous Buffetlians from the planet Divowrr travel the galaxy in search of savory delights — and they've finally set their sights on Earth! But instead of eating the populace, they're curious to participate in the exotic culinary ritual they assume was named for them: "the buffet." Attracted to the bright lights of Las Vegas but lacking the social graces (and opposable thumbs) of the local populace, the Buffetlians expect to be served immediately upon their arrival — and if they don't get the food they crave, they'll start snacking straight from the buffet itself! Can you assemble all the plates and deliver all the meals before your uninvited guests destroy the dining room?
Instructions
- Prepare plates of food based on the aliens' orders
- Fling dishes to feed the aliens
- Restock the buffets by grabbing power-ups
- The aliens are toxic — don't touch them!
- Stop the aliens from attacking the buffets
Gameplay Hints
- Red Buffetlians are particularly poor dinner guests and will frequently launch energy projectiles at you. Dodge their shots — and serve them first!
- If you load up an entire meal onto one dish, you'll receive a bonus upon delivery of the Combo Plate. It might be less lucrative to deliver the food one item at a time, but it's safer. Consider your strategy carefully.
- There's no penalty for delivering more food items than the aliens are craving.

- F1 toggles CRT scanlines on/off
- F2 toggles CRT curvature on/off
- F3 switches resolution in windowed mode
- F9 resets the game
- Alt-Enter toggles between 16:9 fullscreen and 4:3 windowed mode
- + and - adjusts audio volume
