How to Activate a GOG Key

Redeeming a GOG code is quick and the games are always DRM-free. Here is how to do it in GOG Galaxy.

Open GOG Galaxy
Start GOG Galaxy and sign in to your GOG account. No account yet? Create one for free at gog.com.

Open the redeem menu
Click the + button (Add games and friends) near the top-left, then choose Redeem GOG code.

Enter your code
Paste the code into the field. If a captcha shows up, complete it.

Confirm
Click Continue to add the game to your account. You can now install it from Owned Games.
What is a GOG code?
A code that adds a game to your GOG library. Everything on GOG is DRM-free, so once it is on your account you can download the offline installer and keep it forever.
Where do I find my code?
After buying from one of the stores we list, look on the order confirmation page and in your email. Many stores also show it in your account order history.
Code not working?
- Type it in by hand, a stray space from copy-paste is the usual culprit.
- Double-check tricky characters: 0 vs O, 1 vs I, 8 vs B, 6 vs G.
- Make sure you are logged into the right GOG account.
- If it still fails, reach out to the store, or message us and we will sort it out.
