How to Activate an EA App Key

Origin has been replaced by the EA app. Here is how to redeem an EA key on PC.

Open the EA app
Launch the EA app and sign in with your EA account. If Origin is still installed it also works, but EA now recommends the EA app.

Open the redeem screen
Click the menu (or your profile), then choose Redeem Code.

Enter your code
Type or paste your product code into the field.

Confirm
Click Next to activate. The game shows up in your library, ready to install.
Origin or EA app?
EA moved from Origin to the EA app. Your games and keys work on both, but the EA app is the current launcher, so we recommend using it.
Where do I find my code?
Look at the order confirmation and the email from the store you bought it from. Most stores also keep it in your account.
Code not working?
- Retype the code by hand, copy-paste often grabs an extra space.
- Check the tricky characters: 0 vs O, 1 vs I, 8 vs B, 6 vs G.
- Confirm the key region matches your account.
- If it still will not activate, contact the store, or drop us a message.
