Assemblox teaches real coding, not those fake methods like "Fortran", "Pascal", and that one new "C" one the kids are using these days. Assemblox provides you with a live, virtual, and interactive simplified 8086 system that lays out all of the necessary components to understand how the machine works. As you build programs using opcode blocks, you can see how electricity flows through the hardware, affecting the values of registers and RAM. Assemblox x86 provides blocks for various x86 Assembly instructions, and the user takes on the role of the assembler, placing them into ram to build programs. You can even write to the display buffer to control virtual output devices! If you love creating programs but want to learn more about how a computer processes those programs, Assemblox is the tool for you!
