Paul Cézanne,
One of the most recognized classical painters in the world. A Post-Impressionist who inspired the birth of Cubism and influenced the works of Salvador Dalí or Pablo Picasso.
About the Artist:
Paul Cézanne was born on January 19, 1839, in Aix-en-Provence, France, into a wealthy family. Although his father wanted him to study law, Cézanne chose to dedicate his life to painting and moved to Paris. Throughout his career, he rejected traditional perspective, focusing instead on building form through color and reducing nature to basic geometric shapes. His innovative approach was deeply misunderstood by critics for most of his life, but he persevered and laid the foundation for 20th-century modern art. He died of pneumonia on October 22, 1906, in his hometown after collapsing during a heavy rainstorm while painting outdoors.
