Nintendo Switch Game Rankings

The median lowest price on Switch is over four times the PC median, and roughly twice what Xbox and PlayStation sit at. The gap does not come from Nintendo games launching higher, but from them staying put afterwards. First party titles can cost the same several years on as they did at release, and that is the normal state of things rather than a temporary lack of promotions.

About half of the Switch games in our catalogue carry a key seller offer, against six percent on Xbox and under two on PlayStation. When such an offer sits alongside the official one, it is cheaper in close to nine cases out of ten. On a platform where official discounts are rare, that is often the only route to a lower price. Mind the regional restrictions: we only show offers available in your country.

Every ranking rests on a single metric. Score lists compute a Wilson score from Steam reviews with a two hundred review floor, so they reflect the PC versions of these games rather than eShop ratings. Bestseller and wishlist lists mirror Steam's charts. Discount rankings order games by the size of the cut. We recalculate all of them nightly.

Since discounts are rare, watching for them by hand is even less worth the effort. Open a game page, check the chart to see whether and how far the price has dropped before, and set an alert with your own threshold. We check offers every five minutes and send an email when one falls below your figure.
