Dice Legends reimagines roguelike deckbuilders by blending card game strategies with the chaos of dice rolls. You roll, split, flip, and duplicate your dice to use, change, stack or multiply the effects of cards in your deck — all to create devastating card combos.
A great roll helps you chain together card synergies. A bad one forces you to improvise. In Dice Legends, you’re never playing on cruise control.
Here’s how it works:

ROLL DICE TO PLAY CARDS
You start each turn by taking two actions:
Draw ability cards from your deck
Roll six-sided dice (D6) to generate your action pool
(The number of cards and dice you get depends on your character and gear. Some builds will give you way more options than others!)
Your dice rolls determine which cards you can play and how strong they are. But it’s not all luck — you also get cards that let you manipulate dice to tip the odds in your favor (more on that below).
Every card has a die requirement to be used:
Cards that accept any die that meets or exceeds its cost
Cards that need specific values, pairs, or odd/even numbers
Cards that grow stronger with higher dice rolls, multiplying their effects
Drag dice onto your cards to activate them, then drag your cards onto enemies to attack, buff, or block.
BEND THE ODDS WITH DICE MANIPULATION
Beyond standard ability cards, you’ll find special yellow cards. These cards allow you to manipulate dice and make them behave.
Use them to:
Add extra dice to the playing field
Re-roll dice to try for better numbers
Save a die for the next turn to set up a future move
Split or duplicate a die to execute the combo you need
Flip a die to its opposite side & more
As you collect more yellow cards, your strategic options expand, giving you greater control over your luck.
But cards aren’t the only way to tilt the odds. Special items you discover on your journey will help you further boost your dice pool, creating even more powerful synergies.
CRAFT YOUR PERFECT DECK
In Dice Legends, a well-built deck is just as important as a lucky roll. The game features:
100+ unique cards (with more on the way!) across Attack, Block, Buff and Debuff types
Card play limits — Some cards can be used once per turn or once per encounter
Different card sizes — Standard cards take up one deck slot, while small cards let you stack two into the same slot
Every card revolves around dice, but how you craft your deck will define your playstyle.
WALK THE HERO’S PATH
Dice Legends features three playable characters, each belonging to a clan with their own special abilities and mechanics:
Red Clan — Start each encounter with two yellow dice manipulation cards
Blue Clan — Poison enemies for damage over time and lock cards in place between turns
Green Clan — Choose from three different styles to customize how you buff your cards and draw a new card immediately after playing one
As you progress through a run, you’ll find armor, weapons, and amulets. Equipping them will add passive buffs and game-changing effects to enhance your build.
Inspired by classic RPGs, Dice Legends features a dedicated inventory system, with different slots for the gear you collect:
Your journey is randomized every run. Navigate through boss fights, shops, and treasure chests, refining your deck and stacking on powerful items for the final fight!
