How to Activate a Ubisoft Connect Key

Uplay is now Ubisoft Connect, but activating a key works the same way. Here are the steps.

Open Ubisoft Connect
Launch the Ubisoft Connect app and sign in. Download it from ubisoft.com if you do not have it, and create a free Ubisoft account.

Open Key Activation
Click your username in the app, then select Key Activation.

Enter your code
Type or paste your product code into the box.

Activate
Click Activate. The game is added to your account and ready to download.
Uplay or Ubisoft Connect?
They are the same thing. Ubisoft renamed Uplay to Ubisoft Connect, so any Uplay key activates in the Ubisoft Connect app.
Where do I find my code?
Check the order confirmation page and the email from the store where you bought the game. It is often saved in your store account too.
Code not working?
- Enter it manually to avoid an extra space from pasting.
- Mind the lookalikes: 0 vs O, 1 vs I, 8 vs B.
- Some keys are region-locked, so check that it matches your account region.
