You've just arrived on the island of Sunset Moon, tasked with looking after your sick grandpa and his farm. Will you be able to stay on track and fulfill your responsibilities, or will the temptations of this Mini Open World Game pull you in other directions?
Looking after an old man and his farm might not sound like a big challenge to a main-land kid like yourself, but you soon realize that your grandpa is not just physically sick, he often talk nonsense and spend all his time on this rather worrying some theory. In the midst of this the disappearance of your grandmother is
doesn't make this old man as innocent as he might seem.
Snoopy Mc Clean, a local detective, is working hard to prove your grandpas involvement in her disappearance. Will you join him on the hunt, or will you stand by your grandpas side? While this murder mystery takes place, more drama on Sunset Moon is brewing, the Shanty people, the lowest of the low, no longer play by the rules in this harmonic hierarchy that the Mayor have managed to establish on Sunset Moon. The Shanty people can be seen patrolling the streets at night, stealing food and robbing stores, how much further will they go?

In Sunset Moon, you can play as a regular guy, helping your grandpa, help locals, attend your farm, fall in love... You name it. If you work extra hard and make more money then the average gamer, you will be invited to join the Elite, great! You now have access to new areas, houses, and friends.
If you can't pay your rent on the other hand, the town will take your house until you have the money to pay the rent, in the meantime you will wander the streets, collect trash to recycle, go fishing, maybe help some locals with a side quest? Anything to make money and get your life back in order!
You better get your life back on track, before the Shanty people approach you, once you're a Shanty person, the game change drastically.
