About SAFE ZONE

SAFE ZONE - about the game

This environment has been designed to ensure your well-being. Your cooperation is essential for the proper development of the experiment.

What is SAFE ZONE?

SAFE ZONE is a narrative and psychological experience disguised as a platformer and puzzle game.

A simulation created to break you into pieces. And then see what you do with them.

Here, death is not a failure. It's the only way forward.

A game divided into chapters. Each one explores a new mechanic and a different fragment of a story you’re not required to understand, but it might remind you of something.

You are Subject 42.

You will be guided by MARA, our artificial intelligence in charge of the experiment.

She knows what you need. Even before you do.

Approximate duration: 20 minutes
Perfect run: 3 minutes

  • 10 levels designed as tests of obedience, observation, and failure.

  • Main mechanic: die in traps to unlock the black door.

  • Each trap represents a way to die. Every death counts.

  • Order matters. Pain does too.

Approximate duration: 4 hours
Perfect run: 13 minutes

  • New versions of the levels: 10 normal, 9 inverted, 10 negative.

  • Mechanic: defy the rules imposed by the system.

  • Introduction of the blue door and the concepts of "perfection" and "speed."

  • Increasing difficulty and greater control in appearance, but less freedom.

  • 3 possible endings based on the player’s choices and skill.
