Mages prefer to drink their "potions" and read books late into the night, but unfortunately something terrible looms over their splendid world full of beautiful decadence. Danger! Meta-progression
After casting spells on enemies, they sometimes leave coins behind - it's unknown whether they transform into them or carried them - but you can spend them to unlock new abilities and new mages.
