After an incident leaves her unable to fulfill her goals, Michelle Conner is moving out of her parents' house for the first time to attend classes at Premier City University.
While setting up her new life, she meets several interesting people around the city, and she's fairly interested in several of them.
Olive Miller: Michelle's neighbor who lives across the hall. He might speak a little strangely, but he's incredibly eager to help out, and very forgiving (or perhaps just empathetic).
Aster Blakely: A barista at Michelle's new favorite cafe. He's a shameless flirt who seems to love acting mysterious. At least he can make a good macchiato, on top of being mildly entertaining.
Cale Warner: Michelle's classmate at PCU. He's an art major that specializes in ceramics. He seems to always be regulating his emotions, prioritizing being calm over being embarrassed or even excited.
Vincent Graham: Michelle's boss and head chef at Viscount's. When he's not being ordered around by his mother, he enjoys what little time he gets in the kitchen. Some employees like to tease him for skipping meals.
A ghost: Michelle's undocumented roommate. His presence seems to come and go at random. Him tidying up would be appreciated if snacks weren't going missing and the TV wasn't left on every night.
Not entirely surprising given her past, not a single one of these individuals is entirely human. Turns out the world is filled with curses, monsters, and yes, ghosts.
A couple of weeks into her college career, any two of these boys' secrets are revealed, leaving Michelle with the opportunity to grow closer to one or both of them. With everything else going on in Michelle's life, will you manage to bring the three of them together by Christmas?
