202x, England. Forward Green, an NGO whose mission is "to fight climate change with emergent technology", has started a new project. Lagoon Breeze: Supplying Renewable Energy to Impoverished Communities. Fancy being project manager? The job description is simple:
Lead your team: Do what it takes to navigate the construction of this windfarm: finalize a site, manage marketing, handle complaints...and complaints, and complaints.
Fend off your boss: Tell flatteries, lies, and half-truths, or attempt honesty. When the hydras writhe around you, what sort of person will you prove to be?
Pay your bills: Or don't, I'm not your mother.
Can you make an impact? Do good?
The voices of the lagoon whisper through your monitor, faraway tongues speaking doom. Bitter words leak from the cracks in the project like so much black oil and fall like rain upon once-fertile farmland. But don't fear, a whisper can be covered by a catchy jingle, and silent words by so many posters.
Dare you look, eyes uncovered, at what you unleash upon the world? Or shall the Hydra consume you into its writhing flesh?
Time to make an impact...
