The ChS7 is a passenger, two-section, eight-axle electric locomotive operating on 3 kV DC. It was produced between 1983 and 1998 at the Škoda factory in Plzeň for the railways of the Soviet Union (and later Russia and Ukraine). A total of 321 locomotives were built, most of which remain in regular operation as of 2024.
It is one of the most powerful DC passenger electric locomotives used in the former USSR.
