Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok launches July 9

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is getting the big one. Endless Ragnarok, the meaty paid expansion Cygames has been teasing for a while, finally has its launch locked in for July 9, and the final trailer just dropped to remind everyone it's basically on our doorstep.

If you bounced off Relink after clearing the main story back in 2024, this is your excuse to come back. Endless Ragnarok isn't a handful of side quests bolted on. It's a proper continuation, a new story arc, new fighters, and a pile of endgame systems for the people who never actually put the game down.

What you actually get

The headline is the roster. Seofon takes the spotlight in the launch trailer, and he's joined by more playable characters dropping into the crew. On top of that there's a new Summon battle mechanic that shakes up how fights play out, plus a nasty new quest difficulty for anyone who thought Proud mode was a warmup.

Progression gets a serious stretch too. The new Master level system pushes your characters well past the old level 100 ceiling, with a Master Trait tree to keep the build tinkering going for ages. And if you prefer to grind solo, The Conflux is a dedicated single-player endgame mode where the rules keep shifting on you. Crossplay is in as well, so PS5, PS4, Switch 2 and Steam players can finally raid together.

Price and platforms

Endless Ragnarok lands on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. If you already own Relink, the upgrade runs $29.99. Switch 2 folks get it bundled with the base game, which is a tidy way to jump in fresh. Don't forget the link bonuses either, hook up a free Cygames ID and you can pull some extra goodies from the Knickknack Shack.

Two years on, Relink still hits that sweet spot of flashy combat and co-op chaos, and a full expansion is exactly what its stubbornly loyal player base has been asking for. Are you diving back in on launch day, or waiting to see how the endgame holds up? Drop it in the comments.
