Defeat in the main story of âThe Phantom Knowledge.â Unity-chan (Kohaku), who was supposed to have vanished into the ruins of Kogen City, was still alive. However, due to hacking by her arch-enemy, Aakash, her brain is forcibly guided toward the land of âInitialization.â
Stripped of all will, saying nothing, and simply continuing to walk toward her destination, the human resistance group âThe Clockâ plots to kill her in order to prevent the worldâs destruction.
Misaki, the player, swears to become the âShield of the Ruinsâ to protect her beloved and takes up a spear that pierces the void. Akasha, the Resistance, and Unity-chan, who never stops walking. Amidst the swirling despair of this three-way conflict, the battle between protection and destruction begins.
