Master an abstract strategy board game for two players on a tree stump board. Black and White alternate turns, placing stones on empty spots or flipping the color of trapped ones-those flanked by at least two stones of opposing colors. The board fills up over time, and the player with the most stones claims victory amid stunning, procedurally generated nature backgrounds or a crisp classic style. Play locally or online with friends via Remote Play Together, or challenge one of three AI opponents: Fly for beginners, Beetle for solid tests, or Snail for elite competition. Simple controls work seamlessly with mouse, controller, or touch, and quick rules plus tips help newcomers. Ideal for casual players seeking easy entry into deep strategy or pros honing skills on low-end PC hardware.

An abstract board game for two players - human or AI - that is easy to learn yet hard to master, played on a tree stump with beautiful procedurally generated backgrounds.
GAMEPLAY

The players Black and White take turns. Each turn a player chooses to either place a stone on any free point of the board or to change the color of any trapped stone. A stone is trapped if at least two stones of different color lie next to it. The game ends when there is no free point left and whoever has the most stones on the board wins.
CPU PLAYER
You can play with a friend locally or remotely, or you can choose from three different CPU players:


  • The Fly is the easiest AI, meant for casual players or beginners.
  • The Beetle is a more advanced AI for people who want a challenge.
  • The Snail is the hardest AI, meant for highly professional players.
