Rollamech is a dice-drafting strategy game for PC in which players act as pit crews building broadcast-ready mechs for competition in the Corporate Scrap Arena. Four crews fill stat sheets through dice placement and resource management to earn the highest Circuit Points total at the end of each match.
Gameplay
Each match begins with a draft of one of 12 distinct Chassis frames that determine hardpoint layouts. Players then select a Role and Service Record before accepting a random Calibration tradeoff that permanently adjusts two stats by plus or minus two. A Directive sets the evening's league positioning for the group.
Matches proceed through four phases per round: Parts draft, Training, Hangar, and Cleanup. Colored dice are drafted and placed into six stat rows that together hold 18 part slots. Optional Training Effects can activate during this process. Credits are spent in the Hangar on hardware, modules, tuning contracts, and overdrives. Doctrine is positioned on a 3x3 stance grid to influence final scoring. Sponsors are claimed for additional points when opportunities arise.
The round structure repeats until every crew has filled all 18 slots. Scoring draws from nine distinct sources including Role goals, card matches, Doctrine position, hardpoint loadouts, and sponsorships. A full breakdown is provided at the end of each match so crews can review exactly how points were earned.
Game Modes
The core experience centers on the four-player Circuit Championship, which always fields a complete bracket of competitors. Matches support hot-seat local multiplayer on a single PC so friends can take turns at the same machine. Remote Play Together allows the same four-player format over the internet without requiring additional copies of the game.
Single-player practice runs are available through the built-in How to Play guide and the Circuit career system. These modes let players test different Chassis and Role combinations before entering full matches.
Progression and Features
Completed matches contribute to a persistent Circuit career. Players track lifetime Circuit Points milestones, earn rank titles, unlock mech mastery badges, and complete challenge achievements. Profile statistics record performance across multiple runs.
The Hangar economy adds depth through repeated purchases of hardware, modules, tuning contracts, and overdrives. Credits remain limited each round, forcing careful decisions about which upgrades to pursue before the scoring phase begins.
Is It Worth Playing?
Rollamech suits players who enjoy dice-drafting strategy games with indirect competition and detailed scoring systems. The absence of direct combat or elimination focuses attention on efficient stat building and sponsor management within the shared four-player bracket.
Local hot-seat and Remote Play Together support make it accessible for small groups seeking a complete match experience without long setup times. The built-in guide and career progression provide clear entry points for new players while offering ongoing goals for repeat sessions.
Because the game remains in development with a planned release in January 2027 and currently has no public reviews, interested players can follow its progress through the official store page to decide on purchase once it becomes available.
