About Ro Sham Brawl

Ro Sham Brawl - about the game

Ro Sham Brawl is a multiplayer party brawler where you throw Rock, Paper, and Scissors objects at opposing players. Every shot is a physics object — it flies, bounces, and never leaves the arena. The map fills up, platforms crumble, and every round spirals into something different.

Rock crushes Scissors. Scissors cuts Paper. Paper covers Rock. The winning object destroys the other object and becomes a persistent threat on the arena. The same rules apply to the arena itself: platforms are made of Rock, Cardboard, or Plastic, and the right projectile type smashes right through them.

Powerups That Stack. Pickups spawn across the arena and modify your projectiles directly. Homing rocks that chase opponents. Ricocheting scissors that bounce off every surface. High speed paper that is impossible to dodge. Shotgun spreads, explosive impacts, gravity wells — and they all stack on top of each other. The longer the round goes, the wilder things get.

Arenas That Don't Survive. Breakable platforms shatter when hit by the right projectile type. And since projectiles never despawn, they pile up as rolling, bouncing obstacles. The arena you start on is not the arena you finish on.

Bring Friends. Bring Chaos. Play with up to 8 players online through Steam, over LAN, or fill the lobby with bots. Go free-for-all or form teams. Pick your arenas, toggle which powerups are in play, and let the physics sort it out.

Key Features
  • Rock Paper Scissors Combat — Throw Rock, Paper, and Scissors as physics-driven projectiles. Projectiles collide and the winner survives and keeps flying.

  • Destructible Arenas — Platforms made of Rock, Cardboard, and Plastic break when hit by the projectile type that beats them. The ground beneath you is never safe.

  • Persistent Projectiles —  Every shot stays in the arena as a physical obstacle unless it is directly destroyed — rolling, bouncing, and blocking your path.

  • Stackable Powerups — Homing, ricochet, explosion, shotgun, sticky, gravity pull, deflection, shield, platform-creating, and more. They modify your projectiles directly and stack for compounding chaos.

  • Up to 8 Players — Online via Steam, or LAN. Supports free-for-all and team modes.

  • Bots — Fill empty slots with bots at adjustable difficulty levels. Practice solo or pad out a match.

  • Deep Movement — Wall jump, wall slide, dash, crouch, and crouch roll. The skill ceiling is as high as you want it to be.

  • Match Customization — Choose which arenas and powerups are active. Configure teams, bot count, and game mode before each match.
