In 1801 England, amid the industrial revolution's cotton mills, you control Idony, a young girl who begins factory work with her brother Edus-until he vanishes one day. This surreal first-person puzzle indie adventure draws from William Blake's works, letting you flip between two worlds to uncover The Factory's secrets. Explore for 1-2 hours, chat with angels, faces, and workers, solve puzzles to aid both realms' inhabitants, pay the meat toll for the meat hall, and evade The Beast. Core actions include moving with WASD, flipping worlds with Q, interacting via LMB, throwing or returning items with RMB, sprinting on SHIFT, crouching with CTRL, and accessing inventory with E. Short university project by 12 students offers free-to-play access on PC for fans of brief, explorative puzzle experiences blending reality and the otherworldly.

The year is 1801 and the industrial revolution is in full swing. Cotton mills are being built all over England, with children providing the cheap workforce. You play as Idony, a small girl who just started working at one of these factories alongside her brother, Edus. One day you wake up and Edus is gone.

Into the Dangerous World I Leapt is a surreal first person puzzle game inspired by the works of William Blake. In it, you travel between two worlds, just like flipping a coin.


  • 1-2 hours of explorative gameplay.
  • Travel between two worlds and discover the secrets of The Factory.
  • Talk to angels, faces, and your fellow workers.
  • Solve puzzles and help the denizens of both worlds.
  • Pay the meat toll to enter the meat hall.
  • Stay away from The Beast.
