The game's plot revolves around a global conflict between two playable factions fighting for the remnants of resources and bits of lost technology on the surface of a distant world devastated by the great Schism. In the future, another force will intervene in the conflict, under the banner of which every player will be able to stand.
The fractions have a unique set of techniques, fighting style, and their own goals.
Type
The combat equipment available to players is called "Type". Each of these machines is a true marvel of engineering, a treasure trove of lost technologies, and a formidable force on the battlefield. Only the best of the best are capable of handling such combat vehicles, and you will have to become one of them! Setting
The game takes place in the distant future on the surface of the planet Naviika, destroyed by a global cataclysm. Centuries have passed since people, having crossed many hundreds of light-years, found a new home in this flourishing world. After generations of trials and hardships, the united people of Naviiki were able to achieve unprecedented heights of scientific progress.Â
However, the Golden Age of Knowledge and Progress was quickly replaced by a nightmare called the Schism by the survivors. Little information has been preserved about what exactly caused the disaster: half-forgotten legends tell of horrific epidemics that claimed the lives of billions; legions of intelligent machines that turned against their creators; entire continents suddenly turned into a poisoned, uninhabitable wasteland. Magnificent cities turned into ruins strewn with bones; colossal orbital stations collapsed to the surface, burying entire nations under them.; Wars, genocide, and the indescribable atrocities of desperate people have pushed the people of Naviica back many centuries, and now the remnants of humanity are fighting fiercely for resources and what little remains of their ancestors' technology.
Battles take place among the destroyed gigapolises, over dead wastelands, as well as in rare corners of miraculously preserved picturesque nature.
Fractions
After the Split, most people on Naviik lead a primitive, often nomadic lifestyle, searching for pitiful crumbs of resources and technology among the ruins. However, pockets of civilization still remained in the former regions affected during the Split.:
Union of Steel
These people are descendants of officers and soldiers of the armed forces of the old world, who survived due to strategic reserves and powerful fortifications during the Split. Being a brutal military dictatorship with military traditions deeply rooted in culture, they seek to impose their law and order by force of arms. Their goal is to unite disparate groups of people under a single banner and restore civilization at any cost.
A.N.I.M.A. Union
This large association of free nomadic tribes once discovered an ancient orbital city that landed and mothballed in a remote region long before the Split. The priceless technologies found inside allowed this faction to become one of the most technologically advanced on the planet, and the influence of ancient culture changed the worldview of these people, making them a reflection of what the people of Naviica were before the Split. They use the most advanced technology to protect the survivors and restore what has been lost.
Union of Independents (Liberators)
The most skilled and brave always seek the company of their equals. This is what happened to the descendants of these people. Coming from completely different tribes, cultures and religions, these best representatives of their peoples united around the ideals of personal freedom and independence. They reject any form of dictatorship and strive for enlightened anarchism, believing that it was the forms of organization of the old world that led to the collapse of civilization on Navik. Liberators are the best pilots on the planet, which allows them to conquer any dangers of the wastelands and find treasures of the past that are inaccessible to anyone else.
