The Pit is the first dungeon
When heated, the Pit's flames will eat at everything, flattening regions to ashes.
When a region is lost it becomes prey to a more sinister, darker corruption.
If you ascend victorious from the Pit you should have the skill and spirit necessary to navigate a big overworld and take on the other 3 dungeons.
