Experience the CO17-1171 Russian freight locomotive in Trainz Plus, a detailed simulation of the Sergo Ordzhonikidze series built from 1934 to 1951 across multiple Soviet works. This 1-5-0 axle formula engine, with 1320 mm driving wheels and 2200 hp power, hauls medium loads on light rail lines at up to 75 km/h. Paired with a four-type 11 tender carrying 18 tons of fuel oil, the full 23-meter rig weighs 97.8 tons in working order. The model draws from real photos of SO17-4171, preserved for movies, holiday trips, and display at Kiev's museum railway. Search "CO17" in the Trainz tab to deploy this locomotive and tender. A series of freight locomotives CO (Sergo Ordzhonikidze, axle load 17 tonnes) designed for medium loads and working on lines with light rail. Built from 1934 to 1951 at the Kharkov, Bryansk, Voroshilovgrad, Krasnoyarsk and Ulan-Ude Locomotive Works. Total production of locomotives - 3049.

Currently, the engine operating SO17-4171, is used for filming movies and holiday trips. Outside of this it is in an exhibit at the museum railway transport in Kiev, Ukraine.
