VICE runs software built for classic 8-bit computers like the C64, C64DTV, C128, VIC20, all PET variants, PLUS4, and CBM-II series (C610/C510). This free-to-play emulator brings those vintage machines to PC, letting you load and execute original programs with precision. It even handles a C64 setup boosted by the CMD SuperCPU for expanded performance. Retro computing fans fire up old code on faithfully recreated hardware. VICE executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version runs the C64, the C64DTV, the C128, the VIC20, practically all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610/C510). An extra is provided for C64 expanded with the CMD SuperCPU.
