Skin for Wu Fei : Mysteria
As the heavenly order fractured under the relentless invasion of demonkind, many a celestial denizen were displaced to the mortal realm, compelled to seclusion in hidden sanctuaries of their making to recuperate and abide.
Mysteria was a yao fox who strayed into one such sanctuary - the Floral Sea, and sought cultivation there. Fruitless at first, she finally came to enlightenment following tutelage from Ascendant Yufeng - the realm's creator, allowing her to transcend into human form.
Now a master-and-disciple duo, the two ascendants returned to the celestial realm to rejoin the Otherworldly War - yet fate would see it befit to flounder their course. In a valiant act of sacrifice, Yufeng delivered Mysteria from a hopeless ambuscade at the cost of her own life. Shattered in spirit, Mysteria withdrew once again to the solitude and solemn task of watching over the Floral Sea.
Centuries of disaffection have unspooled Mysteria's memories into little more than wisps upon the wind - still clinging to the Liangyi, her master's cherished legacy, she wanders the Floral Sea day by day, a silhouette woven into the very fabric of the realm itself.
Rumors have it that in spite of its fabled beauty, the Floral Sea is a graveyard for all that should find themselves lost inside it.
