Key Mechanics
- Charge and Capacity. Each hexagon has a capacity (think of it as it's health), and charge. The charge represents the damage potential of a hexagon, or the number of nearby enemy hexagons it can zap.
- Recharging. Using up charge makes the hexagons potentially less effective in future turns. But every time you use up all the charge on a hexagon, it triggers a recharge of all your hexagons. Plan your attacks wisely and create a satisfying recharge loop.
- Special Abilities. Multiple special abilities are available (and more will be added). These abilities can spice up the dynamics in the game and take your plays to the next level! Special abilities require unstable charge to operate.
- Unstable Charge. Unstable charge will gather on enemy hexagons. You need to zap the hexagons containing it to pick it up. At the end of each turn, the unstable charges migrate on the board challenging you to adapt on the spot.
Game Modes
- Campaign: Single-player mode where you try to clear the map in as few turns as possible.
- PVP: Play against other players on symmetrical maps. Choose your special abilities wisely and rank up on the ladder.
- Daily Challenge: A single-player mode where a new unique map is released every day and all players compete to solve it as quick and as efficient as possible.
Abilities
ZAPThis is the normal attack. Activate a hexagon you control to zap nearby enemy and neutral hexagons.
UPGRADE
This is a single-use ability. It upgrades any hexagon on the map to 6 capacity and 6 charge.
DEMOTE
This is a single-use ability. It demotes any hexagon on the map to 1 capacity and 1 charge.
FLIP
Permanently flip the owner of any hexagon on the map. This is a special ability and requires unstable charge to be used.
RETALIATE
Place a retaliation rod on any hexagon. When that hexagon is attacked it will attack back. Up to 6 retaliation rods may be placed on a single hexagon. This is a special ability and requires unstable charge to be used.
FRENZY
Performs a more powerful, frenzied, attack from any hexagon you own. For each charge two attacks will be performed. This is a special ability and requires unstable charge to be used.
INFILTRATE
Infiltrate an enemy hexagon and perform an attack from it as if it were yours. This is a special ability and requires unstable charge to be used.
