About memOriedit

memOriedit - about the game

Peering into memories, exposing hidden thoughts, and confronting anguish—this is a counseling adventure.

Will you solve your client’s troubles, or will you remain detached and carry out your duty with composure?
The choice is always yours.

Do not grieve over failure—there is no single correct path.

May the justice you believe in save someone.

【Basic Information】

memOriedit is a pixel-art visual novel (adventure) game set in the present day.

As the player, you freely wield the ability to splice and edit memories in order to confront your clients’ troubles.

The game can be played entirely with mouse clicks.
It consists of three parts: a novel part where you advance conversations with clicks, an adventure part where you explore memories, and a resolution part where you decide your own answer based on the information you have gathered.

There are roughly 10 main scenarios, each with about 1–5 different endings.

【Omoideya (Memory Shop)】

Two stations away from the city, in a town shrouded in an eerie atmosphere at night.

Down a back-alley staircase lies the quiet little shop.

“Let’s erase the memories you wish to erase.”
“Let’s erase the feelings you wish to erase.”

Everyone has thought about memory erasure at least once. But is the one who wields such power truly human?

【Work Description】

An adventure where you probe two different types of information: conversations and memories.

The clients who visit all carry worries, but whether the shopkeeper responds to them or not is entirely up to you.

Detect lies, uncover true intentions. Don’t worry—it’s not difficult.

“All you have to do is listen to what the other person wishes for, then do whatever feels right.”

—Told ya?
