About Deer Man

Deer Man - about the game
A short indie adventure explores guilt, sacrifice, and the love of wildlife through interactive storytelling. Players step into Jacob's memory during his morning run in the freezing, quiet woods near his parents' home in America during the winter of 2015. An encounter with Deer Man reveals the dark side of that passion. Find items and examine surroundings to uncover emotions as the story progresses. The narrative draws inspiration from rangers in Congo's Virunga National Park who protect gorillas and wildlife from poachers. VR support with Oculus DK2 and CV1 enhances the casual experience for those seeking emotional depth.
