Deadwood is a quiet town. It's as old as the tallest trees themselves - some folks say. It is often said is that there is something out there in those trees.Following the lore, years ago a man name Thomas Sterling put Deadwood "on the map" with his inventions. The world couldn't get enough of the genius secluded in Deadwood... until one day he disappeared.
Just as Thomas was going to make his biggest announcement, one he claimed would change the world overnight - he vanished. No one has seen him, or heard from him, since.

Since then Deadwood has changed.A new mayor and a giant factory have moved into town.
While the town's economy has been boosted by the new business, their spirits and morale have never been lower.
The Luminex Factory is a "materials plant" - focused on high quality ground-ore.
Although it has brought a bit of wealth to Deadwood, it has brought even more questions.
The Mayor has a peculiar interest in the Factory, and people are starting to question why.
