A no-turns deck builder roguelike game. Time your ability and combo enemies while you frantically play cards. Explore hexes to power up with stats, xp-gaining-cards, and artifacts. Get bloody through this stylized crucible.
No-Turns
Removing the idea of a turns. Creates a unique card game experience leaning slightly into the action genre while still having many recognizable features associated with current card games.
Deck Builder
Build out your deck by opening packs of cards. Fine-tune your deck by removing card. Also expand your card pack's pool via unlocks.
Unlocks
Playing through the game and winning or losing will grant experience for the player's character to unlock additional cards and/or artifacts for that character.
Abilities
We feature a starting dash ability so you can actively dodge enemy attacks further leaning into the more active playstyle of the game. You can swap out the dash ability for a other abilities for more unique playstyles.
Combos
Hitting your opponent three times with you attacks will trigger a combo. This combo will give your character a bonus for that combat. The types of bonuses you get can be swapped, to play in different ways. A couple examples are "enemy stagger" or a "heal over time".
Hex Exploration
Each hex you navigate to will provide the character a power up of some kind or an event. Sometime the player will have to fight an enemy before acquiring the bonus. Hexes have both rarity and category. Search for your choice of rare hexes or perhaps you want to concentrate on an individual stat within the same category.
Card Levelling
Playing cards will give that individual card experience that will persist throughout a single game's playthrough. As cards level up their effects scale up. Repeatedly playing the same card will level it up quicker than the rest of your deck.
Artifacts
Artifacts and unique power ups that can greatly change your play style or deck construction.
