A Stray Line is a point and click adventure game where you play as Taoyi Feng, who has recently taken a nap down by the lakeshore.
You wake up to discover that your home, your belongings, and even the surrounding woodlands have been changed beyond recognition. People no longer remember your face or history. There are holes in the floor, but you can't see through them.
Despite all that's changed, one fact remains the same.
You are alone again, so the woods are still starving.
Taoyi Feng: A child with all the love in the world to give. For the stars, the woodlands, and the people who took her in when she had nothing.
Atlas Feng: A former big city painter and mage. Now, he lives quietly in a small house with his two adoptive children, hidden away in a forest clearing. He is recovering from some injuries.
Winslow Feng: Tao's older sibling who enjoys teasing and playing with his friends. He is often in homemade costumes for his acting club.
Ilya Svetlov (“Mr. Ilya”): Atlas' friend and gardener, driver, embroiderer, fisherman on call, etc. To Taoyi and Winslow, it really seems like he can do everything.
