This narrative-driven simulation game blends management tasks like upholding faction reputations to dodge dismissal or worse, alongside side gigs and downtime pursuits such as fishing on the job. Players navigate choices from tavern dealings-hiring adventurers, tweaking gear markets, nurturing faction ties-to family upkeep and city jaunts through black markets, arenas, casinos, and sewer enigmas. Each run crafts a unique tale from three core stories with four endings apiece, plus scores of side paths, unlocking decorations and perks for future plays while chasing collectibles like butterflies. You are a guard appointed by His Majesty, partnering with an imp to post bounties and send heroes to investigate strange occurrences and deal with monsters.

In addition to your hard work and side jobs to make ends meet, you have to maintain the reputation of factions to ensure your survival without being fired or assassinated.
