Vindobona
Vindobona was Roman once. Its walls still stand, its people are Slavic, and beneath it lies a wound in the world. When a child goes missing, somebody has to walk the roads the town stopped using — and bring them home.Three Travellers, Three Ways to Fight
Each traveller has a personal quest and a unique weapon upgrade.- Aisulu fights on the move with her Hunting Bow — aim independently as you run, and Twirl out of trouble.
- Vlastimir places each Blunderbuss shot where it will burst, then Shoulders his way through whatever is left.
- Ambroz channels a beam through his Staff, and can Melt: turn to liquid and slip through bodies, rocks and inner walls.
A world that remembers
- 16 levels across four regions — forest and fen, graveyards and ossuaries, cracked drylands, and what lies below.
- Over a dozen bosses, among them one you can never hurt and a funeral procession you can only survive.
- Over 30 creatures waiting in the wilds, each with its own way of coming at you.
- A living town — named townsfolk with their own routines, a tavern, a forge and market stalls, and a Town Ledger where your coin keeps the town standing.
- Death is not a reset. You wake in the last safe place you reached; your cleared rooms, coin and upgrades are where you left them.
- Grow your weapon — pick upgrades as you clear levels, and follow a personal quest to its signature form.
- A map that fills in as the townsfolk name places for you, and a bestiary written as a record of what you have witnessed.
Also
