Magic burst back into the world. Burn it, freeze it, shock it, shatter it.
Spellburst is a cooperative third-person spell-casting action game. Magic has resurfaced after centuries, and corrupted magical creatures are pouring out of unstable dungeons. You are an elite spellcaster of the Arcane Council. Go in, fight through the horde, bring down the boss and get out alive.
Six schools of magic
- Arcane, Earth, Electric, Fire, Ice and Void, each with its own spells: a primary, a secondary, a charged cast and a special.
- Switch schools on the fly and keep your mana and burst meters in check.
- Level up during every run and unlock new schools as you grow stronger.
Mix elements into combos
- Select up to three schools and fire them as one spell. Lava, plasma, steam and dozens of other elemental combinations each have their own look, flight, blast and lingering effects.
- Combos can chain lightning between enemies, pull them in, block their sight, ward you or cost you health for more power. Learn what each mix does and build your own rotation.
Dungeons that are never the same twice
- Every run builds a fresh dungeon from a seed: entrance, hub, challenge rooms, a vendor's rest stop and the boss arena. Share the seed with a friend to play the same layout.
- Pick a theme, from brass palaces and void stations to a toy castle, or head into the hand-built Poppy Meadow.
- Each run builds in intensity: quiet stretches, then sealed challenge rooms, then the boss as the peak.
Play solo or with up to four players
- Play solo or host a co-op run for up to four players.
- Challenge rooms seal their doors until everything inside is dead, so stick together.
- Host a session and see LAN games in the menu.
Risk it all, then extract
- Souls earned from kills are lost if you fall, but they drop where you died and any living teammate can recover them.
- Defeat the boss to open the extraction portal. Gold you bring out is banked for good and buys new character skins.
- Corrupted creatures dodge your shots, strafe, call for help and fight as a pack, so no two fights play out the same.
