Silkdown is a local PvP, single screen, twin stick arena shooter with tactical elements.
You control a spider-like war machine that has some special abilities like:
Command troops - throw a beacon to attack a position or enemy, deactivate it to be guarded.
Weave web - place the deadly silk between the walls and trap your opponents.
Can you outmaneuver your friends on the battlefield?
FEATURES
2 to 4 players in local multiplayer couch combat or online using Steam Remote Play or Parsec.
Focus on clear, tight and fast gameplay, but has handicap options to onboard new players.
Growing set of arenas, weapons, abilities and game modes.
Keyboard and mouse support (gamepad recommended).
Cursor mode for gamepads.
Rules and balancing customization.
NON-FEATURES
No built-in online multiplayer.
No single player mode (yet?).
NOTE
This is a passion project that I'm building mostly to experiment, play with my friends, and make some new ones.
I did not and do not expect this game to be financially viable but I do want to make a quality game and support it.
This means that no matter how bad the game sells I intend to add more stuff to it over time, but the cadence of those updates is not certain.
