About Out of Delivery

Out of Delivery - about the game

Out of Delivery is a multiplayer action game on PC in which players control courier robots competing in chaotic urban deliveries. The core loop involves grabbing packages from depots, carrying up to three at once, and racing them to drop points while rivals attempt to interfere. Packages serve dual purposes as cargo and weapons, allowing throws that can dislodge opponents' loads or deliver direct hits.

Gameplay

Players navigate city streets on foot, collecting packages and deciding whether to deliver them for credits or use them offensively. A charged throw can knock packages loose from rivals, while close-range options include headshots or fist fights. When out of packages, environmental objects like trash bins become available as improvised projectiles. Packages that hit the ground become fair game for anyone nearby, creating constant opportunities for theft and counterplay.

Seven distinct package types introduce varied mechanics. Standard packages offer reliable payouts. Nanotech versions provide a shield that absorbs one hit and can release a draining swarm when thrown. Energy Cells increase carrier speed and chain disruptive effects across multiple targets. Cryogenic packages lose value over time but freeze rivals on impact. Explosive ones detonate after a full charge. Biohazard types leave slowing toxic puddles. High Value packages yield the largest rewards but glow visibly, marking carriers as prime targets.

Additional systems include hacking Nexship terminals through a minigame for credits and rewards such as delivery bonuses or wall-penetrating scans that reveal rivals and routes. Contracts appear each match as optional side objectives, such as landing headshots or completing specific package runs without errors. Credits earned fund temporary upgrades drawn from four families: Courier, Thrower, Hacker, and Logistician. Selecting two from the same family grants set bonuses, and every match resets the build for fresh experimentation.

Game Modes

Matches support up to ten players in online sessions focused on package collection, sabotage, and delivery. The session ends when the timer reaches zero, with victory going to the courier holding the most credits. No other named modes appear in available information, though the emphasis remains on competitive multiplayer interactions where stealing cargo and disrupting rivals form the central loop.

City Environment and Progression

The setting features depots, drop points, and hackable terminals scattered throughout the streets. Scans provide real-time information on package locations and rival positions. Credits accumulate from deliveries and completed contracts, feeding into the upgrade system that lets players experiment with different combinations each shift. Customization options extend to courier skins for visual distinction during matches.

Is It Worth Playing?

Out of Delivery targets players who enjoy fast-paced competitive multiplayer with inventive mechanics built around package handling and direct confrontation. The combination of delivery objectives, throwable cargo effects, and per-match upgrades creates a loop centered on quick decisions and opportunistic plays. As an upcoming title with no released version or player reviews available yet, its appeal rests on the described systems for those drawn to chaotic action and indie multiplayer experiences on PC. Those preferring structured single-player campaigns or slower-paced simulations may find the emphasis on rival interference less suitable.
