You play as Carmen Voss, a detective investigating the brutal murder of Marcus Drell and the mysterious death of Sarah Holcomb. Both were prominent members of a highly private, now defunct writing group whose works you once admired. To find the truth, you must investigate crime scenes, cross-examine the remaining members, and navigate the boundaries of your own mind. Investigate by day and get pulled into a dream world by night, as the two begin to bleed together.
THE SUSPECTS
The writing group is dead, but three members remain. One of them is a killer. None of them have an airtight alibi.
Ramone Lash: A tense, defensive editor with a history of petty theft. He claims he was editing at home on the night of the murders, but his signature red ink was found at the victim's last known location.
Jackie Gray: An art school dropout who found the crime scene photos "artistic." She speaks softly but carries a cold confidence, still wearing the perfume of the deceased Sarah.
Hogarth Nin: A former professor whose published fiction eerily predicts Sarah’s burial details down to the execution. He claims to only observe, never act.
