Hodrimeydan is a stylized fantasy online RPG available on PC in Early Access. It blends cooperative boss hunts with team-based player versus player combat, resource gathering, and equipment progression in a shared world divided between forested and desert regions.
Gameplay
Players select from four core classes: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, or Priest. Each class offers multiple options that determine fighting style, whether engaging enemies at close range, casting spells from a distance, or providing party support. Builds take shape through skill combinations, equipment choices, upgrades, and gem sockets that alter stats and effects.
Exploration centers on two distinct zones. In the Forest, parties hunt creatures and face bosses such as towering golems and Spider Queens. Success requires reading attack warnings, dodging strikes, and coordinating actions to survive encounters while collecting weapons, armor, and crafting materials.
The Desert serves as the primary area for player conflict. Opposing teams battle for control, with individuals choosing targets, assisting teammates, and timing abilities to gain an edge. PvP performance contributes to personal and guild rankings through earned points.
Resource systems support long-term growth. Mining skills allow collection of Pyrite ore and six gem types including Quartz, Topaz, Emerald, Sapphire, Citrine, and Ruby. Deposits yield refined materials automatically. These resources feed into the Item Enhancer, where weapons, shields, and armor improve up to +3 using Refined Pyrite and coins. Rare, Epic, and Legendary items accept a single gem socket, with armor gems delivering paired stat bonuses and weapon gems adding chance-based combat effects along with visual changes based on gem color.
Game Modes
The Forest functions as the cooperative PvE zone focused on creature hunts and boss challenges. Parties form to tackle these encounters, sharing loot and coordinating tactics to overcome large threats.
The Desert operates as the dedicated PvP zone where members of opposing teams compete directly. Objectives revolve around selecting engagements, supporting allies, and accumulating points that feed into individual and guild leaderboards.
Additional systems integrate across both areas. Gathering occurs through mining activities that supply upgrade materials. Equipment progression happens at dedicated stations where players preview costs and resulting bonuses before committing resources. Mounts such as horses, Pegasus, and dragons provide travel options, with flying available in permitted zones.
Character and Guild Customization
Appearance options cover body type, face, hair, and color selections to create distinct looks. Equipment spans multiple rarities, and mounts add further personalization during travel.
Guild features allow creation or joining of groups with custom symbols and colors displayed on capes. Parties support cooperative Forest hunts and Desert battles. Rankings track both PvE and PvP achievements for players and guilds.
Is It Worth Playing?
Access begins with free play up to level 5. Characters above that threshold require an active paid membership purchased in 30-, 60-, or 90-day increments without automatic renewal. Progress, equipment, and characters remain intact after membership ends, though higher-level play pauses until renewal. During active Playtest periods, access extends beyond level 5 at no cost. An internet connection and game account are required, with Steam sign-in supported for linking existing accounts.
The game suits players interested in class-based fantasy combat, party coordination for boss fights, and competitive PvP within a persistent online environment. Those who enjoy building characters through upgrades and gems, gathering resources, and participating in guild activities will find direct alignment with the core systems. Membership flexibility and retained progress reduce barriers for those testing the experience during Early Access.
