About Harvest Them

Harvest Them - about the game

Harvest Them is an isometric action indie RPG with casual elements available on PC. Players control a cursor that directs automatic attacks across the field, eliminating the need for repeated clicking while focusing on positioning and build decisions.

Gameplay

The core loop centers on moving the cursor across an isometric battlefield so that attacks follow its path. Positioning the cursor in dense groups of enemies allows learned skills to activate automatically and handle the combat. Three distinct classes shape the approach: the Warrior excels at close range carving through crowds, the Archer delivers precise strikes that scale into volleys from a distance, and the Mage applies curses to groups before following up with fire and lightning effects.

Each class features three skill branches that together offer 29 skills. Examples include Berserker and Executioner paths for the Warrior alongside Hex, Hellfire, and Lightning options for the Mage. Once unlocked, skills fire without further input, leaving players to select which branches to pursue for their preferred playstyle.

Progression occurs through a connected upgrade grid containing 117 unique nodes and 548 purchasable ranks. Resources such as coins, blood, and souls are spent to advance along paths that emphasize damage output, attack tempo, economic gains, or targeted enemy types. Branching routes encourage repeated playthroughs with different priorities.

Miniboss encounters add variety, with 14 weapon-carrying minibosses available per class for a total of 42 across all three. Defeating them grants their weapons for use in future runs. Twelve artifacts provide permanent bonuses that alter harvesting mechanics in meaningful ways. A 44-entry bestiary details 30 field enemies and 14 minibosses unique to each class, with behaviors such as fleeing, splitting, reviving, guarding others, or increasing in value when left alive, making the order of elimination strategically relevant.

Game Modes

Harvest Them presents a focused single-player experience built around repeated runs through the isometric field. The structure emphasizes class selection, skill acquisition, and grid upgrades rather than separate named modes. Players engage the same core systems across multiple attempts, with differences arising from chosen classes, skill branches, and upgrade paths. Enemy rosters and minibosses vary by class, encouraging exploration of all three options to encounter the full set of 42 minibosses and associated weapons.

Classes and Builds

Class choice determines both combat range and enemy interactions. The Warrior thrives in tight formations where melee skills can chain effectively. The Archer benefits from maintaining distance while scaling single shots into area coverage. The Mage manipulates groups through debuffs before unleashing elemental bursts. Skill branches within each class allow specialization, such as aggressive close combat versus sustained pressure or crowd control versus burst damage. The upgrade grid further refines these choices by letting players allocate resources toward specific strengths like faster skill activation or improved resource collection from defeated foes.

Is It Worth Playing?

Harvest Them suits players who enjoy methodical positioning and build experimentation in an action RPG framework without requiring constant manual inputs. The automatic skill activation and cursor-driven targeting create a relaxed yet strategic loop that fits the casual genre tag while retaining depth through the extensive skill and upgrade systems. Those interested in trying different classes and discovering artifact effects will find replay value in the branching grid and class-specific bestiaries. The game remains in active development with its listed features intact, making it a solid option for anyone seeking an indie title centered on harvesting mechanics and incremental power growth.
