Flemenco is a traditional roguelike with a focus on stealth, positioning, tactical combat, and environmental interactions. The game is actively in development, and in the near-future will be replete with a more intricate heists and contract-missions as well as more nuanced progression mechanics whereby your character transitions from fetid corporate interloper to career spy-criminal aficionado!
As new mechanics and features are drip-fed and tested one-by-one, the arcade mode of the game is the only mode of play. The arcade mode is an endless score-based crawl with attribute-based character progression through the Flemenco Corporation's headquarters. The player chooses from one of twelve playable thieves, each with their own specific skills and abilities, and moves from floor-to-floor, gathering as much loot as possible before inevitably getting caught.
Each level of the office building is procedurally-generated, complete with its own array of traps, lasers, security cameras, alarms, computers, enemies, civilians, items, and more! Higher levels of the office building provide increasingly elaborate floorplans and trap compositions.
