About Dynamic Breach

Dynamic Breach - about the game

Dynamic Breach is a top-down action indie game developed for PC that blends tactical shooting with stealth elements in a story-driven campaign. Players control operators in a world of corporate conspiracy and necro-tech experiments, where the dead are reanimated and piloted by an AI network. The core loop centers on missions that reward careful positioning, noise management, and coordinated squad tactics rather than run-and-gun approaches.

Gameplay

The game uses a line-of-sight system where visibility is limited to a cone that players can adjust by aiming. Narrowing the cone extends vision distance while widening it covers more immediate area. Movement speed directly affects noise levels, with slower walking reducing the chance of alerting guards who communicate alerts to each other across the map. Heat builds when operators are spotted, increasing enemy activity and complicating objectives.

Seven distinct classes each provide one active ability and one passive trait. Between missions, players purchase from a pool of 41 weapons along with gadgets and grenades. A Surge meter accumulates during combat to enable special actions. Operators improve over the course of the campaign through progression systems that carry forward across operations.

Squad commands allow up to three AI or player allies to hold position, reform, push objectives, or focus fire. Allies manage their own gear purchases, seek cover, and retreat when under heavy pressure. The system supports solo play with bots or cooperative sessions via LAN or online connections.

Game Modes

The story campaign consists of 33 operations divided across six acts. Each operation can be tackled alone with bot support or alongside friends in co-op. Progression ties directly into operator strength for subsequent missions.

Blackout pits up to 60 operators in a single arena that shrinks in stages, forcing confrontations as playable space contracts. Onslaught delivers wave-based survival against PMC forces and undead enemies, with a special Herald unit appearing every fifth wave to escalate difficulty.

PvP options include Breach, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Capture the Flag, and Extraction. These modes emphasize the same line-of-sight and noise mechanics found in the campaign while supporting both online and LAN play. Full controller support is available across all modes.

Story and Setting

The narrative follows a deniable squad investigating Project Requiem, a secret corporate initiative involving reanimated soldiers controlled by the Choir AI. Operations range from off-the-books warehouse infiltrations to larger confrontations tied to the central conspiracy. The tone incorporates body horror elements alongside tactical decision-making, with operators carrying out illegal activities early in the campaign.

Progression across the six acts builds operator capabilities while revealing more about the necro-tech technology and its implications. The setting remains grounded in realistic firearms combat with blood effects and on-screen deaths, presented in a grim atmosphere without sexual content or nudity.

Is It Worth Playing?

Dynamic Breach targets players who enjoy deliberate top-down tactical shooters that combine stealth, positioning, and squad management. The verified mechanics around vision cones, noise, and class abilities create a distinct loop suited to those who prefer planning over fast reflexes. Co-op and PvP modes extend replayability for groups interested in the same systems in competitive or survival contexts.

The game is currently listed as coming soon with no user reviews available. It offers single-player campaign support, online and LAN co-op, and multiple PvP formats once released. Full controller compatibility and bilingual English-French support broaden accessibility. Those drawn to indie action titles with detailed tactical layers may find the combination of campaign operations and varied modes appealing, particularly if they value squad command systems and progressive operator upgrades.
