About Drawn & Dangerous

Drawn & Dangerous - about the game

Drawn & Dangerous is a real-time multiplayer artillery brawler that blends action and strategy in chaotic stickman combat on PC. Up to 20 players split into four teams battle across hand-painted maps where every pixel of terrain can be destroyed, tunneled, or rebuilt in real time. There are no turns or waiting periods. Everyone aims, fires, and detonates simultaneously, turning structured battlefields into rubble within minutes.

Gameplay

Players begin each match armed only with a basic pistol. Additional firepower arrives via parachute crates that drop from the sky. Shooting a crate causes it to explode, so matches often revolve around scrambling for powerful items while denying them to opponents. The 24 weapons and gadgets cover a wide range of playstyles. Long-range options include the bazooka, homing missile, and air strike. Close-quarters and area tools feature grenades, cluster bombs, banana bombs, the Holy Hand Grenade, flamethrower, Molotov, minigun, shotgun, sniper rifle, and Uzi. Sneakier choices encompass dynamite, land mines, tunnel drill, and teleporter. Pure chaos comes from the boxing glove launcher, shockwave grenade, bounce pad, and smoke bomb. One standout gadget is the exploding sheep, which wanders toward enemies before detonation on a second click. The plasma rail pierces straight through terrain and lines of players alike.

Terrain destruction drives the core loop. Land that loses structural support collapses, falls, and fuses back into the landscape at its new location. Removing the base of a cliff sends the overhang crashing down, flattening anyone below. Cave ceilings rest on pillars, and bunkers depend on their walls. Everything eventually gives way under sustained fire. Players can also construct cover by pressing B to place walls, floors, ramps, blocks, or pre-made bunkers using wood, stone, or metal. These built pieces function as permanent terrain that can be stood on, tunneled into, or blasted apart. Walls absorb blast damage and block bullets. Build points earned from kills and objectives fund construction, creating a cycle of building then watching structures crumble.

Bots fill empty slots in every match and behave like human players by grabbing crates, constructing cover, and escaping collapses. This system supports solo play in full 20-player lobbies, lets friends join partial games, or keeps matches running while teammates respawn. Steam lobbies allow hosting friends-only or public sessions, browsing available games, joining via code, or sending invites. Host migration keeps matches alive if the original host departs. Proximity team voice chat uses push-to-talk, and LAN play plus offline bot practice round out the multiplayer options.

Game Modes

Five distinct modes deliver varied chaos. Team Deathmatch awards victory to the first team reaching the kill limit. Capture the Flag requires stealing the enemy flag while ensuring your own flag remains at base to score. King of the Hill tasks teams with holding a glowing zone that shifts location every minute; a contested zone awards no points to anyone. Last Man Standing removes respawns entirely, with rising water beginning after two minutes to force the final confrontations. Frontline War places two armies on expansive battlefields filled with trenches and ruins. Vehicles such as jeeps, tanks, and helicopters support advances across no-man's-land toward the enemy headquarters.

Matches rotate across eight battlefield themes including Meadow, Desert, Arctic, Hell, Candy, Toxic, Warzone, and Dunes. These sit atop four procedurally generated map styles: rolling hills, islands, caverns, and canyons. The combination keeps environments fresh while the fully destructible nature ensures no two rounds play identically.

Progression and Customization

Credits earned during matches unlock more than 40 hand-painted cosmetics for stickman characters. Options range from hats and outfits to face gear and back accessories such as a traffic cone or rubber duck. These items alter appearance only and carry no statistical advantages. An optional respawn shop lets players spend match-earned scrap to equip their next life. An online kill leaderboard tracks performance across sessions. Adjustable gore settings offer Maximum, Mild, or Off levels to suit different preferences.

Is It Worth Playing?

Drawn & Dangerous enters Early Access in November 2026 with a complete core experience already playable. The real-time artillery combat, destructible terrain with collapse physics, building system, 24 weapons, five modes, and bot support create immediate replayability for fans of chaotic multiplayer action and strategy. Players who enjoy simultaneous decision-making, environmental destruction, and team-based scrambles will find strong appeal in the constant map evolution and crate chases. The game supports solo sessions through bots, small groups via Steam lobbies, and larger organized play. As development continues with community input on weapons, maps, modes, and balance, Early Access buyers receive all future updates at no additional cost. Those seeking fast-paced, physics-driven multiplayer without pay-to-win elements or long waits between actions should consider adding it to their wishlist ahead of launch.
