Chaos & Seek is an asymmetric multiplayer action and adventure game for PC in which three ghosts compete against three hunters inside a single house. Gameplay

They interact with the environment by grabbing loose objects such as vases, chairs, and picture frames and hurling them across rooms. Each impact on the floor raises the Chaos Meter. Hunters rely on a radar device that displays directional pings and color-coded distance information to locate activity. Orange signals indicate activity on another floor while red signals indicate activity on the same floor. When a hunter closes the distance the radar enters a rapid blinking state that reveals the ghost's exact position for a short window. The vacuum serves as both a capture tool and a cleanup device that removes scattered objects to lower the meter.
Ghosts can leave temporary puddles that slow any hunter who steps into them, creating brief escape opportunities. Hunters must balance aggressive pursuit with strategic cleaning because time spent vacuuming one area allows ghosts to wreck another. The house features multiple floors and connected rooms that turn every chase into a vertical navigation challenge where sound and radar reading become the primary senses for the hunter team.
Game Modes
The only confirmed mode is the standard 3v3 online match. Ghosts win by filling the Chaos Meter to 100 percent through repeated object throws. Hunters win by using their vacuums to capture all three ghosts. If the three-minute timer expires without either team reaching its goal the round ends without a winner. The short duration encourages repeated matches and immediate rematches rather than extended sessions or complex rule variations.
Asymmetric Team Dynamics
Team coordination differs sharply between sides. Ghost players focus on constant movement and disruption, using speed to stay ahead of radar pings while choosing which rooms to target for maximum meter gain. Hunter players must divide attention between chasing visible wreckage and deciding when to pause for cleaning. The radar system rewards players who learn to interpret floor changes and proximity alerts, turning each round into a cat-and-mouse contest built on audio feedback and quick reactions.
