The heroes get the songs. You get the ledger.
Bramblewick is a guild management RPG where you run the hall that heroes call home. Recruit warriors, rogues, necromancers, and bards β each with their own stats, traits, and temper. Outfit them, train them, and send them out to fight, explore, escort, and steal on your behalf. Then wait by the fire and see who comes back.
βοΈ Every road is a story. Quests play out as journeys β skirmishes with bandits on the way, rope bridges someone has to cross, lucky rolls and catastrophic fumbles. Read the mission journal when they return: every triumph and disaster is written down.
π§ Your adventurers remember. This is Bramblewick's heart. A hero who nearly died at the Bandit Camp carries that scar β and talks about it, to you and to each other around the hall. A perfect roll becomes a story they'll retell for years. The comrade who dragged them home becomes a friend for life. Your guild's history isn't in a menu; it's in the people.
βοΈ They remember you, too. On the road, your parties hit dilemmas only you can resolve β and your answer travels back to the hall. Choose mercy and they'll be proud to wear your banner. Choose profit and some will respect itβ¦ while others stop sleeping well. Morality isn't a meter; it's a reputation among the people you command.
π° Run the hall. Negotiate contracts, manage the guild chest, host visitors, plan raids, play diplomat with your neighbors, and keep wounded heroes fed while they heal. Day and night cycle through your hall while its people train, drink, argue, and remember.
Anyone can hire a hero. A Guild Master earns their loyalty.
