Beyond - about the game

Opal races against time to deliver her father's calcifying soul gem to the village tomb. Corrupted soul gems infest the place, corrupted by dark power, and she wields her father's gem to purge them. Players navigate this action-adventure bullet-hell dungeon crawler through four distinct areas, battling five enemy types and bosses with three unique weapons. Dynamic lighting enhances the tomb's tense trials, all powered by a custom C++ engine. Boss fights demand precise dodging in bullet-hell patterns. Action fans who crave intense dungeon crawls and soul-cleansing combat will find a focused challenge here.



Beyond is an action-adventure bullet-hell dungeon crawler. Harness the power of your fatherā€™s soul gem to overcome the trials of the tomb, defeat the corrupted soul gems and lay your father to rest!

With the calcification of her father's soul, there isn't much time left for him in this world. Opal is tasked with bringing his soul gem to the village tomb. But it will be no simple task:

The soul gems that reside in the tomb have been corrupted by a dark power. Opal must cleanse the tomb of this evil energy using the power of her fatherā€™s soul gem. Can you overcome the trials of the tomb and help bring Opalā€™s father to his final resting place?
