Extra is the mid tier of PlayStation Plus. It includes all Essential benefits (online play, monthly games, cloud saves, discounts) and adds the Game Catalogue: hundreds of PS4 and PS5 titles, including major first party hits, that you can download and play for as long as you stay subscribed.

How is Extra different from Essential and Premium?

Compared to Essential, Extra adds the downloadable games catalogue. Compared to Premium, Extra leaves out game trials and the classics library (PS1, PS2, PSP, and streamable PS3 games). Extra is the sweet spot if you mainly want a big modern library.

How much is PS Plus Extra and can I save?
