Remember when Palworld took over the entire internet, sold a frankly ridiculous number of copies, and got half of gaming arguing about it for a month? Well, it is finally about to shed the Early Access tag. Palworld hits 1.0 on July 10, and the patch notes are enormous.
Pocketpair's "creatures with guns" survival sandbox blindsided everyone back in early 2024, pulling in tens of millions of players almost overnight. Since then it has been chipping away in Early Access, adding islands, raids, and Pals at a steady clip. Now the full launch is here, and the studio is not doing it quietly.
The changelog runs to something like 27 pages. Twenty-seven. We are talking new content, a stack of performance improvements, and a long list of quality-of-life fixes, plus all the planned systems the game shipped without back in 2024. If you bounced off it during Early Access because it felt unfinished, this is the version that finally answers "is it done yet" with a yes.
It is also the smart moment to jump in if you have been on the fence. A 1.0 launch usually means a wave of returning players, fuller servers, and a co-op scene that is actually alive again. Grab a few friends, build a questionable base, and put your Pals to work in ways Nintendo's lawyers would probably rather you did not.
So, are you diving back in for the full release, or did Palworld already eat enough of your 2024? Let us know in the comments.
