Cultprits is an upcoming Lovecraftian multiplayer game that combines investigation with social deduction. Find clues to stop an Eldritch God from awakening, or undermine the investigation as an undercover cultist!
GAMEPLAY FEATURES
Searching for clues. Forbidden grimoires describe certain ways in which each Eldritch God manifests. In order to perform a banishing ritual, you'll need to figure out which one of them is awakening. Find 3 clues—or risk making a guess. Remember, you're racing against the doomsday clock!
Resource management and crafting. In-game items have many uses, from unlocking abilities to revealing clues to starting the ritual. You can use crafting stations to combine the items you've found, or share them with other players—but spend your resources wisely.
Mini-quests. There are citizens in need all around Arkham. Rewards they offer are often your best source of useful items!
Sanity management. Being out at night or dealing with the supernatural takes a toll on your sanity, which results in harmful side effects, such as spontaneously using random abilities. If all Investigators become insane, the world is doomed.
Sabotage and deception. Playing as a Cultist, you can't just straight up kill the Investigators. Instead, your abilities will allow you to set traps or remove clues—and, of course, you can lie to throw them off the scent. You were totally just crafting medicine near this ominous cauldron!
Bans by voting. If someone is acting suspiciously, you can collectively decide to prevent them from accessing certain parts of the map.
Our first map will take you to explore Miskatonic University in the very heart of the haunted town of Arkham. The staff know a thing or two about dealing with the occult... perhaps a thing too many.
