時代は平安時代中期。 とある貴族の姫が不在の間の寝殿で、妖怪が描かれた絵巻が未知の瘴気に触れて、妖怪が実体化し闊歩していた。 人間を食べることで力をつけようとする妖怪を倒すべく、同じく絵巻物に描かれた陰陽師も瘴気に触れて実体化した。 陰陽師をという邪魔者を倒して人間を食べるために、妖怪は陰陽師に襲いかかる。 果たして姫が戻るまでに、妖怪を倒せるか・・・・！？
