About The Forgotten Rooms

The Forgotten Rooms - about the game

The story begins with the character in a hospital room receiving medication. Each time he takes medication, he moves further away from reality and enters an imaginary world constructed by his own mind. This world is a quiet, sterile, yet peaceful place — the character’s subconscious mind has created it to escape the chaotic nature of the real world.

As the player moves between these two worlds — the real world and the imaginary world — he comes to a decision:

Confront your past and return to real life, or get lost in the seemingly safe but fake waters of your mind?

  • The Forgotten Rooms is not just an exploration game; it is a narrative about mental illness, repressed traumas, and the prison a person creates in their own inner world. Each progression is a step towards the character's internal dissolution or healing.

Close to reality, full of emotion. Developed with Unity 6 HDRP, this scene aims to draw you in with visual reality and atmosphere.

The player can slide through some areas and pull environmental objects to open their path.

Engage directly with the environment through physical interactions such as sliding and pulling.

Slide to reach hard-to-reach areas, pull to overcome obstacles.

Interact with the world through physical movements: slide, pull, move.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel, only more darkness.

It is hard to take a step, but it is impossible to go back.

This is just the beginning. The rest of the story is waiting for you to discover. Are you ready to face the past? The journey into the depths of the mind is just beginning. Escaping reality is easy… but returning is not always possible. Only you can find what awaits you in the forgotten rooms.
